Community Service: COVID-19 Pandemic and its Impact on Student Entrepreneurs in Indonesia and Malaysia

Abstract: The community service activity provides information on shifting the education process during the COVID-19 pandemic and how this situation significantly impacts student entrepreneurs. This activity was followed by sharing and comparing experiences between student entrepreneurs in Malaysia and Indonesia and carried out online via Zoom and YouTube platforms. Students experienced some obstacles, especially in the activity related to the student entrepreneurial unit. These impediments are caused by restrictions on community activity hours to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These obstacles take place not only in Indonesia but also in Malaysia. The solutions are to introduce participants to the School Unit Waste Bank program. The implementation program is to achieve new insights and understanding of existing problems from MSME actors regarding the importance of understanding the strategy of maintaining the business during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
