This study explains the effect of transactional leadership style and employee competence on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research is a survey study with a sample of 73 respondents using a questionnaire; data were analyzed using probability sampling. This analysis tool uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The findings of this study state that transactional leadership style has a positive effect on job satisfaction; employee competency has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. Transactional leadership style has a positive effect on employee performance; employee competence has a positive effect on employee performance.
