The Role of Employee Competence in Performance with Additional Income in the Regional Secretariat Mojokerto City during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of employee competence and performance on additional employee income at the Regional Secretariat of Mojokerto City. This type of research is explanatory quantitative with a sample of 55 employees taken by proportional random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and data analysis using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence of employee competence on employee performance and additional income. There is a direct effect of performance on additional employee income. There is a positive effect of employee competence and performance on additional employee income in the Regional Secretariat of the City of Mojokerto.
