Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the effect of human capital on firm value with the intervening variable profitability. The population in this research is a registered company in the Jakarta Islamic Index for the period 2018 to 2022 there are 30 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The samples obtained were 12 companies so that a total of 60 observations were obtained. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and partial least squares with software SmartPLS 3.29. This study shows a significant positive effect between human capital and profitability against firm values. While human capital is not found influence direct to profitability.
