Himalayan Publisher follows an open-access publishing model to ensure the free and unrestricted availability of published research to readers worldwide. To support editorial management, peer review, production, online hosting, archiving, and indexing services, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied for accepted manuscripts.

The APC is charged only after successful peer review and final acceptance of the manuscript for publication. There are no submission charges for authors at the time of manuscript submission.

Waiver Policy

Himalayan Publisher is committed to supporting researchers and promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge globally. Partial or full APC waivers may be considered for authors who are unable to pay the publication charges due to financial limitations.

Waiver requests should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission or before the final publication decision. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on factors such as:

• Authors from low-income or developing countries
• Students or early-career researchers with limited funding
• Special academic or humanitarian considerations

Granting a waiver does not influence the editorial decision, peer-review process, or publication outcome. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic quality, originality, and scientific merit.

Refund Policy

The Article Processing Charge (APC) becomes non-refundable once the manuscript has entered the editorial or production process, including peer review, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, or online publication preparation.

Refund requests may be considered only under exceptional circumstances, including:

• Duplicate or accidental payment
• Technical payment errors
• Publisher-related processing issues preventing publication

No refund will be provided in the following cases:

• Manuscript withdrawal after peer review has started
• Rejection due to plagiarism, ethical violations, or poor scientific quality
• Author-requested withdrawal after acceptance or production stage
• Delays caused by incomplete author responses or corrections

Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.

Himalayan Publisher reserves the right to update or modify the APC, waiver, and refund policies at any time to maintain transparent and ethical publishing standards.
