Himalayan Publisher is committed to ensuring the quality, integrity, and credibility of the scholarly work published across all its journals through a rigorous Single-Blind Peer Review process. Under this model, reviewers know the identity of the authors, while the identities of the reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment to verify its suitability for the journal's scope, compliance with submission guidelines, ethical standards, and originality. Manuscripts that successfully pass this screening are assigned to at least two independent experts with relevant subject expertise for peer review.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, scientific quality, methodology, significance, clarity, ethical compliance, and overall contribution to the field. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may accept the manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or reject it. The final decision regarding publication rests solely with the Editor.
Himalayan Publisher adheres to internationally recognized best practices in scholarly publishing and follows the ethical principles and recommendations established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Editors, reviewers, and authors are expected to comply with these standards to ensure fairness, transparency, confidentiality, and research integrity throughout the peer review process.
This Peer Review Process applies uniformly to all journals published by Himalayan Publisher, unless a journal explicitly states an alternative peer review model in its individual journal policies.
